Three ways to create direct download links from Google
- Shareable Items must not be linked in a Group. Items must be shared to ‘Anyone who has a link’ or ‘Everyone’.
- When ‘Enable Google Docs’ is selected, linked folders CANNOT have the following combination of letters in the first five characters of the folder names: “docum”, “sprea” and “prese”.
- Google has a default security setting that warns users before downloading a file that is over 25mb in size. This cannot be circumnavigated.
- Gray Technical, LLC is not affiliated with Google or Google Drive in any way.
- Currently with Folder conversions, G-Drive Linker is limited to the objects that are loaded by default in Google Drive when you open that location. Typically this is 50 items per folder depending on your computers settings.
