Let’s take an in-depth look at what this ink cartridge has to offer.
What Customers Love
- High Page Yield: With up to 1,000 pages per cartridge at 5% coverage, you can rely on the 923XL 923e Black Ink Cartridge for extended use without frequent replacements.
- Easy Installation: Designed to be straightforward, these cartridges can be installed quickly and effortlessly into your compatible HP printer models.
- Professional Print Quality: The ink provides sharp text and crisp images, making it ideal for both home and office use.
What Could Be Better
- Firmware Compatibility Issues: Some customers have reported problems with the HP firmware update affecting chip recognition. This could potentially cause compatibility issues, so users should be prepared to contact customer service if necessary.
- Ink Consumption: For those who require more than 5% coverage per page, the 1,000-page yield might not meet expectations as closely as it would for lighter usage.
Performance, Features, and Value
The 923XL 923e Black Ink Cartridge is specifically designed for a range of HP OfficeJet Pro printers, including the 8125e, 8128e, and 8135e series. It comes with an easy-to-install design and is paired with a user manual to guide you through the process.
The cartridge’s high page yield makes it a cost-effective choice for users who print frequently. However, keep in mind that frequent firmware updates from HP could occasionally cause compatibility issues, which might require reaching out to customer service for support.
